Mr. Toffee

Say hey to Mr. Toffee! Mr. Toffee came to us after being found as a stray. We believe Mr. Toffee was born in July of 2023. According to his foster mom, Mr. Toffee is a high energy guy that loves to play, play, play! He loves sparkle balls, string toys, or anything he can carry in his mouth, or play soccer with! Mr. Toffee is independent and liked to spend time hanging with the adult cats in his former foster home. Mr. Toffee is a curious guy that likes to explore his surroundings, and will also join in on "helping" humans make the bed. Mr. Toffee will sit on your lap on occasion, but only when he feels the time is right for cuddles. Mr. Toffee is a talkative guy when no humans are in sight, but as soon as he can hear you talk back to him, or see you - he is reassured. He also likes to sing with a toy in his mouth! Are you Mr. Toffee's new forever home? He sure hopes so! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
