My Story

Let's reintroduce you to sweet Myra! She has been posted before, was adopted, brought back to the shelter for medical review and is now in a foster home. It was discovered that Myra has cataracts, so her vision is a bit limited and that's something to consider if you want to adopt this precious girl! Myra's foster mom has nothing but rave reviews about having Myra in her home. Here is what she has to say as well as recommendations to make her transition in the home the best for everyone involved! "Myra is a great cat, probably the most affectionate cat I've ever seen. She's cool with doing her own thing, but you better be available right away when she wants attention, so stop what you're doing and give that girl love! I would agree with what the vet said, issues with depth perception. Not good with moving toys, but ones that make noise are way better as she loves sounds and when you talk to her. She will jump down off of things okay, maybe a little hesitant at first. I don't think she can see things very well that are farther away, but she acts like your typical kitten. I've never seen her bump into anything either. Adopters must know that Myra could never be outside or in a home with dogs that would be over-interested or would chase her as she cannot jump high or get away quickly. Overall, Myra is an amazing kitty who deserves a loving and understanding home. Myra is in a foster home with other cats and doing great! She is also spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, on flea/tick preventatives, litter box trained and has a sponsored adoption fee. If you want to adopt Myra, submit an application and we will coordinate with her foster mom!
