Meet Myrtle, your cuddliest new best friend! Once she has a brief warmup to her new humans, she will regale you with loud purrs so you know just how much she loves you. Your perfect Netflix and chill date or crafting buddy (she will even snuggle in your lap and not bother your yarn while knitting).
Myrtle wants nothing more than to sit on her foster’s lap or be carried around. She’s an incredibly special cat, and we know the perfect home is out there for her.
Myrtle was found outside in January 2021 when she was just a year old with an injured leg. She was adopted into a home and was recently surrendered back to the rescue after having a severe vestibular episode.
Myrtle is looking for an adopter ready to work with her and what she’s comfortable with. She may take a few days to warm up, but once she does she will be your best friend and express her delight at seeing you with adorable chirps and head butts. She is on twice daily oral medication that she takes with no issue
Myrtle would do fine in a home with other cats that will not rough-house with her, but would love to find a home where she is the only pet. She loves nothing more than attention from people and she deserves to be the start of the show as the only pet in the home. Myrtle is a bit unstable on her feet; she is not able to go up or down stairs, so she must be in a home that is able to limit her access to one level.
