My Story

Hi, my name is Norma. When your people say that you are a “good, loving, great cat” who is “gentle and laid back,” you wonder what you did to deserve losing your home. Well, in my case (and for my two housemates, Spooky and Jinx), it was the allergies of our dad’s fiancé that won out over us. I lived with my dad for eight of my 11 years, so it’s going to take a while for me to adjust to my new life, but I know that if I can find a quiet home (where no one is allergic to me!), I’ll do that in fairly short order. I am a charming black and white lady, who, counting in “cat time” is only 65, so I’m just getting into my prime! My dad said that I do like to talk a lot and need to be near my people, so if you feel that a chatty, stick-to-you, feline might brighten your life, then I sure would like to be the one to do it!
