Onyx

Onyx is dreaming of a forever home and family, not just this Barbie dream house. Although, he does look really content when he lounges in his (human) foster sister’s doll mansion. Onyx is a 4 year old, silky soft, boy that is a little shy when first meeting new people or being in new places. His long black fur is truly the softest thing we’ve ever felt. Did we mention how luxurious his floof is? Onyx came to Tails High as an older kitten that was past the “prime age” for socializing kittens but we didn’t let that stop us from rescuing him. Nearly 4 years later, he’s come so far and even cuddles up on his foster mom’s lap during conference calls, begging for attention. Sometimes the switch flips and these super shy kitties finally realize they’re safe and life is good. We’re looking for an adopter that will understand Onyx might take some time to adjust in his new home, but with patience and love, the reward when you see him totally comfortable is SO SO WORTH IT!
