Ozzie-PLEASE HELP!

Meet Ozzie! Ozzie is a VERY SPECIAL BOY that is DESPERATELY seeking someone to take him into their home and give him the attention that he is much deserving of. He is 4 years old.Poor Ozzie is a product of a divorce. He was turned into a kill shelter recently. His current foster mom couldn't stand to see him sitting at the shelter, so she took him home. See, Oscar weighs 40 lbs. Yes, that's right, 40 lbs!!! He is morbidly obese and needs someone to adopt him that will walk him EVERY DAY (like a dog....he walks on a harness and leash) and will carefully monitor his food intake. He is currently eating EVO grain-free, low carb, high protein food. He does LOVE to eat and will eat as much as is in front of him, so it is essential that it is carefully monitored. Ozzie is also about to undergo a series of blood tests to ensure that there is not a thyroid, etc issue causing him to be so obese. This much weight on a cat is terribly unhealthy and will eventually cause him to go into heart failure if it isn't brought under control. He has a wonderful personality,though. He LOVES other cats, but absolutely despises dogs. There is no way that he can be adopted into a home with a dog. It is also not recommended that he be with small children because he is so large, he could injure them with simple play. PLEASE find a place in your home and your heart for Mr. Ozzie. He is so deserving, but just needs a little exercise and a diet to help him get back on track. His adoption fee has been reduced to $50 due to his special needs.
