Pancake showed up when just a kitten at a business in West Liberty. The young woman who found her was nice enough to take her to the vet and get her medication. Two days later she brought her to Paws Animal Shelter so she could be cared for until she finds her forever family. Pancake does have an ulcer on her one eye that was treated. It may never heal completely, but it doesn't seem to impact her vision (it is visible in some of her photos). She has absolutely no problem chasing the fishing pole feathers and other toys in her room. Since she was so young when she came to us, she went into foster care for a few weeks. As with all of our kittens who come from fosters, she is super friendly. She is back at the shelter and in our Scratching Post room now, where she has lots of other kittens to play with. She's a super sweet, loving kitten who would be a wonderful addition to just about any family.
