Papa

Meet Papa, a handsome and sweet cat who is in need of a forever home. Papa's journey to Just Cats Rescue was a difficult one. He was found by a kindhearted individual in her backyard, and it appeared that he had either escaped from his previous home or was put outside by his owners. Upon arrival, it was clear that Papa needed help. His hair was so matted that he could barely move his front legs. After he was shaved, it was discovered that his fur weighed a whopping one pound and was causing sores all over his body from pulling on him. However, with the love and care of the volunteers at Just Cats Rescue, Papa is now on the road to recovery. Papa is a timid guy who needs time to adjust to new surroundings, but he is a sweet and independent feline who will make a wonderful companion for the right person. He gets cranky when you try to make him do something he doesn't want to do, so patience and understanding are keys to his happiness. Due to his temperament, his adoption fee has been discounted for the right person. Papa has been neutered, vaccinated for Rabies and feline distemper, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped, so he is ready to join his new family. If you have a quiet home and the patience to allow Papa to adjust at his own pace, he will reward you with unconditional love and companionship.
