Parmesan

Parmesan is a little reserved, often preferring to sit back and watch everything going on around him. And it can take him a little bit to warm up to you. But once he does, it would be hard to find a sweeter kitten. He loves being held and stroked and his purr will leave you in no doubt that he loves the attention, and you. But he’s not an all quiet boy, he loves to tussle with his brother Cayenne and play with his jingle ball and any innocent cardboard that might be lying around. Born 7/1/2021 Parmesan and his brother were born with a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Their mother was very sick during pregnancy and this caused the cerebellum, which controls movement, to not be fully developed, causing issues when he moves. CH does not get better or worse and has absolutely no impact on his health or longevity. Also known as “wobble cat syndrome”, these special babies seem to always be especially sweet and loving. Parmesan will do best with carpeted areas to help him stabilize and may require extra padding around sharp corners and kept away from stairs unsupervised.
