Patches

Patches' story is tied in to that of her mother Tess (bottom). She was born indoors after her desperate mother,Tess, was taken in by a kindly gentleman who loved cats. Patches did not have to face the deprivation,starvation and fear her mother knew. She was well cared for by Tess, and the gentleman and is a friendly, playful, carefree, healthy kitten. The litter: Patches, Curious George, BeeGee, Jasmin; have been together since they were born. Ideally Patches will be adopted with a sibling or with Tess. Patches was adopted with her brother Curious George. Their new owners are a young couple who have been searching for a while for the right kittens. they have done alot of reasearch on kitten care and, no doubt, the kittens will be well cared for. Tess' story Tess is a distinctive looking dilute torty born in a feral colony in the late fall of 2007, Her gentle, friendly nature belies her rough beginning. She was terrorized by other cats, and few people pitied the outside cats enough to provide them with food or shelter. It was an area where people would feed them, only to trap and kill them. Just a kitten herself, she was terrified, thin and very pregnant when an elderly person felt sorry for the little creature and took her in. He already had three cats, and was in poor health, so he could not keep Tess and her litter. (Bee Gee, Patches, Curious George, Jasmin). He cared for them as best he could but contacted Cat Rescue Network and we took her and her four kittens in to a foster home just before Christmas 2008. Tess likes being a domestic cat and is very friendly towards people and other cats. She is an ideal pet.
