Don’t get your spots in a knot when you see my name, Patches! I’m not THAT Patches. Do you know who I mean? The famous one on Facebook! That BIG kitty boy out in Virginia? Oh my! I don’t want to be famous! I just want to be adopted and loved forever! My son Simba and I were brought in by a kind man that saw us under his deck. He took care of us for a while. We then went to a foster home and were not afraid of humans. I am a 4-year-old tortoiseshell girl with lovely orange tints and a touch of beige on my face. When I talk, I use short sounds. One of my more interesting habits is that when I drink from the water dish, I scoop the water with my paw and drink from it. Since coming to the shelter, I’ve had some dental work done! All of my teeth needed to be removed, and I need to be on a soft diet, at least until my mouth heals. It’s canned food only for now. Some cats are able to eat kibble even though they are toothless, but I may not miss that at all! (Canned food is healthier overall because of the moisture content.) I’m a brave girl, and I liked playing and wrestling with my boy Simba, who has been adopted. I might do well in a home with a kitten or another young cat that I can bond with. My foster mom says I am a unique girl, so if you’re looking for a special cat, let’s see if you and Patches will be a purrfect match! Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
