Meet Pebble! Pebble is a 2.5 year-old, 8-pound female cat from Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn Pebble was found by a resident of Windor Terrace who said the little gal was frequenting her backyard and taking naps on her patio furniture. Knowing Pebble was ready for the good life, the resident worked with a local rescuer to bring Pebble indoors so that she could find her forever family! While we dont know much about Pebble's history, her foster family has had the opportunity to learn a lot about her during their time together - They noted falling in love with her cute face and chubby tail! Pebble is a shy, but curious girl! She enjoys taking naps in the window, basking in the sun, and watching her foster parents do all their everyday things (she is especially interested in watching them cook in the kitchen). While she still finds wand toys to be a bit confusing, she will entertain herself with mice toys all day and night! Pebble is also a total foodie - She has been described by her fosters as a "Churu Fiend" and will eat any food her fosters put in front of her! You'll know when you've started to earn her trust when she gives you her adorable slow blinks and flashes her stubby gray tail or sits on the end of the sofa with you :) While we are confident that patience and the love of her new people will go a long way, it is important to note that Pebble will need time to decompress and warm up in a new home and that she prefers more of an independent lifestyle - she loves being around (and watching) her people, as well as playing with her fellow feline housemates, but isnt needy for pets or a ton of attention (unless you have treats, food, or Churu, of course!) Pebble will do well in a home with another adult cat given the postive interactions she has had with the two adults cats in her foster home. She would be a great addition to a home that already has a cat and wants a low maintenance buddy to add to their family! Pebble tolerates the small dogs in her current foster home, however, we think a cat only home would likely suite her best.
