Penelope

Penelope (2.5y) is a super love bug!! She loves all people!!! Very affectionate and playful too. However, she is not a friend of any other furry animals. A little history about Penelope; she was found outside when she ran up to someone outside crying and meowing. Her finder was kind enough to take her in and give her a bath as she was so sweet but also smelled of a garage or shop and was very dirty. So naturally we suspected she was a drop off/abandoned. We had posted her in hopes her family was missing her but no one reached out. Something that was noticed when we had brought her in for her vet appointment was the condition of her teeth. They had really taken a beaten and we are not sure why as she is still very young so we booked her for surgery and sadly they had to remove all her teeth except 5 of them. We did find that because she only has those teeth we wanted to make sure she would get the right amount of calories and thankfully we were able to find a food that she truly enjoys… Her foster has been feeding her one can of Fancy Feast Primavera (3-flavour pack) and one rounded tablespoon of Orijen dry with every meal and she flourishes with it. You would never know she only has 5 teeth especially with the little love bites she loves to give and on the upside… she will have next to no dental issues in the future either.
