My Story

Declawed, dog-friendly cat

Pepper is a gorgeous boy who has had a rather unfortunate history. He was declawed and living indoors when his owner decided he didn't want in indoor cat anymore. So out he went. This also meant that his owner didn't feed him as regularly. So, Grandma came to visit and got upset so she just took him away and contacted HHS. We found him a foster home and he is now up for adoption. He has been Leukemia and FIV tested - negative, is already neutered, up to date on shots and dewormed. Sweet boy who gets along well with dogs. Slow to warm up to other cats, but does fine after a while. Sweet, laid back boy! Still needs to gain some weight.
