PETEY - ready late July

Petey is between 2-3 months old and is still warming up to people but hiding less now. He loves to play with his foster kitty buddies and especially likes to pal around with Pippi and Chopper. He was rescued last month when he hitchhiked a ride in a truck from the mission in Burlington NC, to a home off Hoskins Road in Burlington. A friend of ours heard his cries in the middle of the night, went outside to search with a flashlight and traced the cries to her neighbor's vehicle where Petey was. It took a little bit of patience to rescue him. He bit her neighbor when he had attempted to pick him up-resulting in a 10 day quarantine by Animal Control when the man sought care and told them about the kitten.
