Petunia

Petunia I wish I could tell you how I ended up as a stray cat on Lantern Road and 106th, but I can't. I can tell you that a kind lady found me in early April, and she knew I needed some help. I was covered in scabs and skin irritation, with scratch marks on my whole body. My fur was thin in some areas, probably from scratching and over-grooming. Perhaps it was a flea infestation or some allergic reaction, but I am fully recovered now with medication and the care that only an indoor cat has access to. I know I was someone's cat at some time because I am spayed. They think I am about 5-years-old and I weigh 9.5 pounds. The interviewer lady (IL) told me I was a beautiful girl with jade green eyes and a pretty white bib on my brown tabby coat. Although slightly timid, I allowed the IL to pet me all over. I enjoyed the attention and ear rubs and began purring. However, after a few minutes, it was no longer comfortable for me; I felt overstimulated. So I meowed at her and turned away. I'm proud to be confident enough to tell her how I felt. I use my litterbox faithfully and enjoy finding cozy places to curl up and nap. Although being indoors, taken care of, and fed is terrific, I'm getting a little bored. I cannot wait to move into my forever home with windows to sit by and people to give me affection. I'm in need of a loving forever home, and I'm hoping you might be the one to provide it. How do you feel about cats named Petunia? 5-14-24
