Ping and Pong - Bonded
Age: 2-3 years
Sex: Males
Ping and Pong are two brave and sweet brothers with wobbly cat syndrome, Cerebellar Hypoplasia.
Ping is the more confident of the two but both of them soon warm up to their human friends and really lean into the pets and lap up the love. It is so cute watching how it excited they get with a bit of love and how they "rush" over to greet you when you enter the room.
Caring for Ping and Pong is not difficult as they do not require any special vet care or expertise. Anyone that has been around babies will already have the experience to look after these two as it only takes a little planning and baby proofing to prepare your home for these special boys. Like babies, they are messy eaters but this can be minimized with some minor preparation to the eating area. Some carefully placed furniture and rug or carpets will help them get around safely and confidently in their environment. A strategically placed baby gate will help keep them safe and prevent tumbles. Their litter box habits are exceptional - and their accuracy is close to perfection. Like children, there may be a rare accident probably because they have waited a bit too long before they make the long trek to the low sided, large sized litter box. For these two, it is often two steps forward and one step back. But like many of us that have had our own trials and tribulations, that extra step forward will eventually get you there!
Ping and Pong were kept in a cage for the first part of their lives but this is so not necessary. There are dedicated fan clubs and websites that are also great resources for finding out more about this syndrome. These resources will help enrich the lives of CH cats with education and planning. It will also help enrich the lives of the caregivers as they reap the rewards of having a CH cat.
They would like a home together but can go separately but ideally with another feline friend for company.
Location: Foster Care - can be met there
