Pinwheel had a home until she was 14 and then was surrendered to us. At our vet intake she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and is now being medicated for her condition. Hopefully this care will help her feel better, and put on some weight as she is very petite. Pinwheel is a candidate for our Permanent Foster program.
Pinwheel is a typical tortie who doesn't enjoy the company of other cats. She climbs up to the highest perch and keeps to herself up there. She would do best as the only cat in the home where she can be the sole diva! Pinwheel can be cranky, and especially during our visiting hours with the public, she does not make too many friends. We feel that her only chance to relax and perhaps show a softer version of herself is to be welcomed into a patient adopter's home.
Pinwheel deserves to spend her senior years being adored and cared for!
