Meet Pop What can we say about this black beauty? Well to start-he’s a black beauty; so very handsome. Don’t believe what you may have heard about black cats being unlucky as that is not Pop at all. He is very friendly and is one of the first cats to greet the volunteers when they come into his room. He likes to be petted and likes to play with toys and the laser pointer. He gets along with other cats and is a bit of a chow hound (oops-sorry about the dog metaphor). He’s the one we can count on to finish up the canned food the others leave behind. There will be no wasting of supplies on his watch. Pop gets along with other cats and would be good with supervised children. His best friend at the shelter is Rusty and it would be nice to see them adopted together. He doesn’t like going in a cat carrier, but really, how many cats do? He could be adopted alone, with one of our other great cats (like Rusty), or into a house with cats. This handsome gentleman is 8 years young. Pop is spayed, microchipped, current on Rabies and FVRCP (distemper) vaccinations, was wormed and is FeLV/FIV negative. If interested please fill out an application at 1by1catrescue.org.
