Posy and Charlie (bonded pair)

Hello! Our names are Charlie (tabby coat) and Posy (white bicolor coat)! We are both female domestic shorthairs who are currently a little over a year old, and we are looking for our forever home! Our first year of life was pretty difficult, but we are accommodating quickly to human exposure and love after being rescued from a home with over 80 neglected brothers and sisters. My name is Posy! Since arriving at my current foster home, I have made tremendous progress and am even warming up to petting and snuggles from my foster mom. I am extremely social, and love to follow humans around wherever they go. A typical day for me includes lots of play with my favorite feather chaser and plenty of cuddles with the other cats in my house. Although I can occasionally be a little jumpy, I love attention and am warming up to physical affection. My sister and I currently live in a foster home with 1 human and 1 other cat. We appreciate the quiet and predictable environment, and would appreciate it if we could find a forever home similar in nature. Because of our traumatic past, my sister Charlie and I are definitely looking for a child-free and dog-free home with a patient owner who wants to grow and bond with us over time. We get along well with other cats, and might do well with another kitty sibling if you have one. So, what do you say? Would you like to meet me? I am definitely the timid sister and am taking a little longer to completely trust the humans in my foster home. That being said, I have also made noticeable progress since being rescued. A couple of months ago I was terrified and spent most of my days hidden, but these days I have joined my sister Posy in following my foster mom around the house and lounging on all the soft furniture she has for us. When the house is especially calm I have accepted petting, but am still easily spooked by loud noises and unexpected movement. I love to play with fluffy balls and mouse toys, cuddle with my siblings, and keep a careful watch over the household. I am confident that my beautiful face and unique markings will brighten your day as I acclimate to your home, and that eventually all three of us will become the best of friends! -- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
