What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! I have been known to shower my favorite people in love! I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy! A volunteer writes: Powder was found in a stairwell that he had hoped was leading to his forever family's apartment. It wasn't, but the person who found him brought him here, so he is one step closer. This is how I imagine Powder sees it because he has that hopeful optimism spirit, which allows him to take every opportunity to put himself out there. Maybe that's putting it too lightly though because he's always doing something to try to get me to look at him. First, Powder talks about anything and everything. He's not claiming to be an expert in the field because he's a lifelong learner, he just has a lot of ideas and opinions. Thankfully he doesn't take it personally if his monologuing doesn't get your attention because he can do other things. Powder stands up on his back feet for optimal leverage to reach his paws out to tap my shoulders. He also likes to tap my head, my hair, my glasses, he's just saying hi, like 100 times over. When I opened his condo door, he shared some terrifically hearty nuzzles and headbutts that somehow felt like they were full body. Powder let me know when he wanted a break from cuddles just as easily as he let me know he was ready for me to return.
