The most common comment we get when people first see Precious is "she has such sad eyes." Precious is working hard to recover from losing both her elderly caregivers within months of each other.
Precious is a beautiful 2-3 year old short haired dilute tortie with sage green and yellow eyes. It has taken many months in foster care for her to accept human attention. We are now able to pick her up and she will often sit on our laps while watching TV. She likes to move at her own pace choosing when to engage and when to observe. She tolerates the other cats in foster care but prefers her own company. While she does not hide, I often find her in her room even when the door is open to allow her to roam.
Precious would make an outstanding pet for someone looking for a calm, steady cat who requires little besides love and care.
