Prima arrived to us all the way from Texas! She was an extremely resourceful lady and lucked out finding a very nice truck driver to take her in, get her to a vet to get her injuries checked out and she just happened to be from here! She lives in our Adoptions lobby and she's doing fantastic!
Prima sustained injuries prior to arrival that are consistent with being hit by a car. There's no way to really know what happened to her. All we know is that she's well managed and happy now. Her front leg was previously broken and healed incorrectly. Her knees also pop up sometimes when she walks. She receives a monthly injection for arthritis that manages her pain well.
