Meow there! I'm Primo, a street-smart feline who made my grand entrance into this world on the tough turf of Hollywood. Despite my rocky beginnings, there's nothing I love more than cozying up to a loving family, spending my days in a warm embrace, and serenading them with my purring symphony. I've got this knack for finding my way into the hearts of humans—I've strutted into my rescuer's trap not once, but a triumphant three times. Some might say I've mastered the art of self-rescue. Growing up in a cool colony, I've developed a deep fondness for my feline siblings, but fear not! I'm more than willing to share my affectionate vibes with my humans too. When I'm not frolicking with my furry pals, you'll find me nestled in your arms, purring away like there's no tomorrow. My love isn't just a feeling; it's a vibrating force that'll recharge your whole being. After a session of Primo purrs, you'll be brimming with energy, ready to fulfill your duties—like feeding me, of course. Let's embark on this journey together, where my purrs meet your heart, creating a harmonious blend of feline and human love. Currently in foster care in Fountain Valley. We can transport to approved adopter in LA county and some parts of OC. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. We currently TNR roughly 24 cats/month. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
