When you meet Sultan, our striking orange tabby with the matching orange eyes, and his brother Prince, our handsome brown tabby with the white muzzle, you will realize that you are indeed among royalty. These reserved boys are definitely more confident when they are with each other, so please note that they will need to stay together. They get along just fine with other cats in their room at the shelter, but they would prefer a quiet household with minimal activity. We make sure they have plenty of safety zones; in particular, they both love blankets and boxes so they can transition themselves into turtles when they need a little more peace and quiet. However, these charmers have come a long way in just a few months and sometimes will greet us at the door. Both welcome affection with a slow, very gentle approach.
These two young boys were rescued by a colony-feeder who brought them to safety in her home. Since she could only foster them temporarily, we were happy to help these two bonded boys. Sultan and Prince both have heartbreakingly sweet personalities and will make wonderfully loyal pets in a home. These two royals command respect and patience until they are comfortable, but surely, they will enjoy sovereignty over a sofa someday soon!
