Regressive FeLV is a type of dormant FeLV (a virus that weakens the immune system) that lives in the bone marrow. Regressive FeLV+ cats live just any other cat with similar life expectancy. While unlikely, there is a small chance FeLV can be reactivated as such regressive FeLV+ cats should only live with other FeLV+ cats, FeLV-vaccinated cats (if you and your vet are comfortable with that), dogs and other non-cat animals. We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another companion animal (FeLV+ cat, FeLV-vaccinated cat, dog, or other animal). If not, Princess Penelope will need to be adopted with one of their siblings (Cheesy Potato Burrito, Nacho Grande, Baby Lasagna, Crunch Wrap Supreme, and Nacho Fries). The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For Princess Penelope + one of her siblings, the adoption fee is $300. Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.
