THE TAIL OF PRINCESS POPPI: Special Needs Kitten We got Princess Poppi from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky where she likely would have been put down due to a neurological disorder. She was a mess when she first came - running into walls, head tilted, very unbalanced, cross-eyed etc. Our awesome vet Dr. Ramsey diagnosed her with toxoplasmosis and cerebral/neurological disorder and was put on medicine for 30 days. She has improved significantly!!! But still has some issues. She is deaf, has decreased depth perception, and sensory issues (so doesn't want petted much). The good news is she isn't afraid of vacuums. Princess Poppi needs a very special adopter who can be patient and kind to her. It would be great if she had another kitty who she can play rough, bite, and wrestle with. She is very social and loves people. She goes crazy for wand toys and canned food. She will definitely give you hours of entertainment!! She will likely need contained in a single room at first. She can't be in a house with balconies she could fall off and likely no kids due to her play biting. She is 4-5 months old, fixed, and up-to-date on vetting. She is negative for feline diseases.
