My Story

Arrived June 2022 I am extremely shy but will provide you with hours of entertainment. I can be a good friend to other cats, but can be a bit picky. My foster can pet me but it ends up with a bite, i tend to explore a lot with sniffing and my mouth. When possible, my bad eye will be removed and everyone hopes I feel better. We are a small non-profit organization run on volunteers and donations. Due to this we ask that adoption fees are donation based, with a minimum of $60 (Cafe Cats are a different adoption fee) to cover spay/neuter, Rabies & Distemper vaccines, dewormer, flea/tick/ear mite medication and any other medical treatment needed. Cats located in Barron will need an approved application prior to visiting the cats. The application can be found at: www.heretotherescue.weebly.com Cats located at The Cafe Meow MN must be visited first, then please submit an application. Our focus is on the trap-neuter-return of outdoor cats. Those who are removed from their outdoor homes are cat who will live poor lives or death if returned. With that said, ALL cats are adopted as INDOOR ONLY companions and are not to be declawed. If you are interested in a barn/garage cat to keep you company and help with pest control, we do have a barn cat program available as well. Thank you!
