Sammy

Sammy is a handsome Siamese kitten who is about 5 months old. He is very playful and active, but also affectionate and loving. Unlike many Siamese cats, he is very quiet (he has never exhibited any of the typical Siamese vocalizations). He is good with other cats, and loves to play with Celeste, his foster sister, and with Nanook, his foster aunt. He is happy and sweet.

However, Sammy does need a special home, because he has a disability - he is mostly blind. He does seem to be able to see shapes and shadows, because he gets around just fine (he never goes outside the litter box, and always finds his dinner). But he does get distressed in new situations or when he is suddenly picked up or handled, so he would need a quiet, stable home, with gentle, understanding people. He would probably do best in a home with no younger children. He seems to get along okay with small, friendly dogs. He has been declawed, so its doubly-important that he have a safe, secure, inside-only home.

The adoption fee for this cat is $75, which includes his neuter surgery and also his vaccinations (rabies, distemper/FVRCP, and feline leukemia). He needs an indoor-only home.
