Shylah is about 14 years old and was surrendered, along with another cat, when their owner unfortunately became homeless. Shylah is a funny girl with a very "large and in charge" attitude! She was grumpy with us at first, but has really warmed up once she realized that she was safe. She enjoys being petted, strutting around the room checking out anything that might be different or new, and munching all the treats. She might be an older gal, but she still has a lot of spunk left in her! She has never lived with a dog before, and might not appreciate kids, so an adults-only home would be best. She lived with another cat before, but only knew that one cat for a long time. It's possible she could learn to share her space with another cat, but adopters have to understand that it could take some time. We can give tips on introducing a new cat to a resident cat.

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, de-wormed, tested for FeLV/FIV, and treated for fleas before adoption.
