Solar was found with a managed community cat colony in Chicago's South Side after being abandoned by his previous family. After several baths to remove the grease covering his fur (0/10, he does not recommend), he began to adjust to his new surroundings. Solar loves cuddles and is eager for attention. When not seeking pets, he is a climber and enjoys finding high spaces to watch and observe.
Solar has become most outgoing since meeting another cat, Bishop, who was rescued from the same colony. Together, they love to wrestle and chase each other through the house.
We prefer to adopt Solar and Bishop as a bonded pair.
