Thanks to a generous donation from the Andy and Connie Ziemelis Charitable Fund, Sour Dough's adoption fee has been sponsored by the Home Sweet Home Program! ***Sour Dough and his brother Baguette are a Bonded Pair, and therefore are required to go home with one another! Sour Dough is a 1 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped! Meet Sour Dough! Sour Dough is a shy guy who is ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to work on his confidence and socialization skills. While he may be a bit shy at first and will need some time and space while adjusting in a new home, he has shown us that once comfortable he is a typical older kitten who loves to play and explore. Once comfortable with you, he will openly ask for pets and attention – and a great way to earn this guy’s trust is with lots of yummy treats! He really started to come out of his shell in a loving foster home after being reunited with his brother Baguette who is also available for adoption. These brothers enjoy spending their day exploring their surroundings, chasing around their toys, playing with one another, and (of course) snuggling with each other after they tire out. Sour Dough is a very shy kitty who is unsure and nervous around new people and in new places, and he does startle easily from fast movements and loud noises. So, he is looking for a bit of a calmer and quieter home with a family with kids at least 8 years of age or older who won’t chase or startle him and understand that he may prefer his space at times. Sour Dough has grown up with several other cats in his previous home and has spent some time in a loving foster home with his brother Baguette who he heavily relies on for comfort. He is much more confident and outgoing with another feline friend by his side, so he is required to go to a home with another cat.
