"Don't be a lady, be a legend. - Stevie Nicks Meet Stevie Licks! We got little miss Stevie and her minis as an emergency placement from a shelter. She was said to be rescued from a hoarding situation. We believe that Stevie didn't get much attention in her young life from this environment. She came to us very skinny and matted. The vet estimates her to be about only a year old. Stevie is an excellent mother and is very attentive to her kiddos but she deserves to be a kitten herself. For the two months we have had her we have been teaching Stevie how to "cat. Some things we have learned about Stevie: she absolutely LOVES to play and will chatter with excitement over her toys, she's still a little unsure about being held but will tolerate it a bit for some pets. Stevie adores being pampered and loved on. She enjoys being brushed, pet, and receiving chin/butt scratches. She sure is a cuddly girl and just wants to be near her people. Stevie will ask for love by rubbing on your legs and talking with you. She is very food and treat motivated and has no shame about trying to steal others food. Another life pleasure of Stevie's is looking out windows and basking in the sunshine. Stevie Licks is famously beautiful and could definitely be a model. Just look at her adorable mustache! Her coat is shiny now and she is definitely starting to fill out. To know Stevie is to love her. This foster has not only been a "lady but she is "legendary just like her namesake. Stevie is shy and needs patience but has done well around respectful children. She hasn't been a fan of our cats but we believe she is just being protective of her babies. So we suggest that any introduction with other animals is done slowly.
