My Story

Meet Stink Bug, a charming 3-year-old cat with a unique name and an even more unique personality! Stink Bug is an independent boy who appreciates his alone time but also enjoys the occasional cuddle session. He can be a bit sensitive to overstimulation, so a calm and understanding home would be ideal for him. Despite being FIV positive, Stink Bug can live a long, happy life with proper care. If you're looking for a sweet and loving companion who's also a bit of a character, Stink Bug is your guy! Visit the adoption center to meet Stink Bug and see if he's the perfect match for your family. Walk-ins are welcome, so come on down and give Stink Bug a chance to steal your heart!

For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
