My Story

Meet 6 year old Sweet Pea, a cuddly lovebug who is as sweet as her name implies! Although she may be shy at first meetings, Sweet Pea is very docile, loving, and affectionate with humans after having some time to come out of her shell. Once she is comfortable she is a total lap cat and expert "biscuit maker"! She can be chatty and opinionated, and will let you know if she is lonely, so she needs at least one other sweet and chill kitty in her forever home. This is a must have! An experienced adopter will see this amazing kitty blossom once she settles into her home and builds trust with her adopter and new feline BFF. Are you interested in welcoming Sweet Pea into your family? If so, follow the instructions below: ------------ If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
