Toby had been put outside in a housing development. When his rescuer came to get him, she witnessed one of the residents throwing a lighted cigarette at his head, causing a burn. He still went directly to the rescuer and had no problem getting into her carrier and car. He is a joy. He is playful, friendly, docile, gentle and not "scratchy". He does adjust to other cats, but is appropriately cautious and waits until he is accepted. Despite his rough start, he will be a wonderful lifetime companion. Your adoption fee will cover all of his vet services to be given when he is old enough.
