My Story

Feb 2010 - Vito is making progress and becoming more confident! He's starting coming out during the day, but still isn't comfortable enough to let anyone pet him. Slow and steady is the way for Vito!

Vito is a little guy who was brought in wild during the summer. He was in foster care for some time and has now returned to our main adoption cat room. Vito is still pretty scared and cautious of people. He will slowly come around with the help of our volunteers. Vito loves the other cats and would do well in a home with other cats.

All the animals that arrive at the Shelter are stray. The information that we have on the animals has been gathered since their arrival at the Shelter., and with the help of our volunteers. We do our best to assess the animals and disclose everything we know regarding health and temperament to interested adopters.

Adoption applications are available at the Shelter only. The application review process can take between 24-48 hours. The Shelter does NOT do same day adoptions.
We do not ship animals or adopt outside of BC.
