'Bastion'

Young 1 1/2 yrs old traditional black/tan saddleback boy 'Bastion' is a rather "quiet and studious" soft personality! He's a sweetheart for sure and has such a strong sense of loyalty, protection and herding instinct. He's a "Freedom boy" born on 4th of july! :-) Bastion was given up by his owners due to him "constantly wanting to herd " his children! ..that means he'd nip at their heel's when they'd stray away from "his sense of comfort zone" (home environment) Poor boy, he got misunderstood and got booted out for wanting to protect "his flock"! :-( Although Bastion is great with people in general he sometimes (not always) tend to behave aloof with strangers he doesn't quite feel comfortable about! (discriminative) -however never with aggression! Bastion is "a good little boy"! :-) He is a wonderful and super calm housedog. He has SUPERB manners, VERY highly well behaved and is perfectly safe to leave to roam the home without being crated! He knows his basics and has good recall and is so easily directable in the house! He loves to play and do his fetching with children, going for car rides, walks great on leash and go places! He can be socially friendly with other dogs but should preferrably not live with other adult dogs but a pup! (-he's shown dominance and "hoggy attitude", meaning he does not want to share his mommy/daddy with adult dogs!) He's neutral with cats.
