'Mazin Murdock (Murdy)

Meet the 'mazin Murdock (affectionately known as Murdy). Murdock is an approximately 6 year old Mountain Cur X Boxer mix and he weighs about 45-50 lbs. Murdock was originally adopted as a young puppy years ago from us, and was surrendered back because his owners were moving. Unfortunately his previous owners did not provide necessary veterinary care for Murdy, and he is now heartworm positive. He is receiving slow kill treatment; however he is still available for adoption while under treatment (we will cover the remainder of his Advantage Multi doses). Murdock is a super sweet boy and gets along with just about every dog he's met so far. He loves children and is usually found following AJ, our resident 7 year old, around the play yard. When he isn't frolicking in the play yard, Murdy is usually found lounging on one of the many dog beds or couch. Murdy also doesn't seem to mind cats, and keeps a healthy distance from the 2 grouchy resident cats. Murdock rides well in the car, walks on leash with minimal pulling, and is potty trained. We are refreshing his crate training skills and working on some basic obedience commands. If you are looking for a loving and sweet boy to join your household, consider meeting Murdock!
