My Story
WOWZA, huh?! :-)) ..pheew, that's one 'LOOKY LOOKY' young fella!! .. however though, this young teen-age 'German Dog' is also what's referred to as an "apartment size shepherd" (!!! ..beats me!! He MUST have been the runt of the litter as he's too physically beautiful and well-bred otherwise!) He's the same size and height as his female counter part, in general! ..and there's NOTHING about him that resembles "female", LOL!! He is as MACHO as they come!! 'Nitro' is quite "explosive", he's extremely QUICK to react on anything that he'd perceive as 'negative', ESPECIALLY if someone behaves the least suspicious.. watch out, 'relax', turn away, stand still and close your ears!! ..and elbows down thank you! :-)) Noo, he wouldn't attack, he'd just make a lot of noise! (-only if you cornered him and/or indirectly challenged him!) Not to make him sound so bad, he IS friendly and will greet friendly strangers as long as mommy/daddy is with him, otherwise he'll tell you to beat it!! ..and well yes, he is a bit on the 'serious side'! :-/ however though, he is SUPER affectionate, SUPER, totally devoted and so protective of his family and home turf, nothing escapes him! Superb instant obedience and off-leash recall. Nitro is an absolute wonderful home companion/guardian, perfect house dog, perfect car rider, he's so well-behaved and dare not to mis-behave on you, he's great! He's great with all size dogs and cats too! :-) Nitro knows his basics and will ONLY be adopted out to a couple and/ or family with older children that knows well to respect "his type"! (-don't get it?! -don't apply!) A K-9 Officer family would be most ideal! IF, and ONLY if, you have EXPERIENCE with the more 'serious working dog mentality', you may then CALL for an interview! :-) Nitro is home and crate trained, neutered, UTD, HW- , on prevs and has MC ID. 'Nitroglycerin's non-refundable adoption fee is $300.00 *****Please keep in mind that Rescue does not do boarding and/or post-pone an adoption until YOU would be ready, so please call only WHEN you'd be READY and set to adopt, thank you! :-)
