If you are looking for the perfect family dog to give you wags and kisses I am your guy. I play tug & fetch. The vet estimates my age at 8 but with all that I endured it makes me look like I am older. I am still very young at heart. Here's my story. I don't know where my family is & no one was looking for me. So I tried to find them on my own. Someone called the animal cops because I was lost & starving. So I was placed in a shelter with no lights, no bed, & a very small dish. I saw people 2 times a day who cleaned my cage & fed me. They never took me out. The used strong disinfectants on the floor & I got bad skin irritations. I spent almost 20 days in this place & was to be euthanized until PANT saved me. The PANT vet said I had lost 15 pounds on my journey & due to stress of living at the shelter. My skin is healing & no longer blistered. I am living with 2 other dogs & trying to gain weight slowly. A healthy weight for me should be 95 lbs. I show no interest in cats or squirrels & would love to have a family & a nice soft bed. Kids are ok too. I am neutered & will receive my shots soon now that my sores & booboos are healed. I have had no accidents in the house because I love seeing the sunshine & going for walks.
