ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS FENCED YARD My name is Dozer. I am in the market for a new family. I am about 3 years old and weigh appx 78lbs. I am a big goof ball that pretty much rolls in any situation as you can see from my fosters moms comments..... Dozer is a very chill fellow and is looking for a great place to chill out with his new people friend. He does best with female doggie friends. He easily fits into new situations and bonds very quickly to anybody with a friendly face and hands that are willing to scratch his head, or his back, or his belly. He is said to be part Rhodesian Ridgeback but we don't really see it. He's a big boy with a big personality. He's tall and carries it well. He loves to play fetch. He is the only pet at his foster home. The neighborhood cat hates all dogs, so he's not really had a fair test around cats. He has been nose to nose with cattle and shows no particular reaction. He's not been around other farm animals. Close supervision around smaller farm animals would be advised. He's very motivated by positive attention and is learning manners very quickly. He loves car rides and is the perfect backseat passenger. He does well on a tether. I think he would happily stay inside a fenced yard. He sticks around where his people are. He has had no inside accidents to date (fingers crossed). We were not really in a position to take on a dog when he came into our lives. He's adapted very well to being left alone for hours at a time. He has proven to be very easy to take care of. His big brown eyes, soft brown fur and winning personality will make you fall in love with him He does need to be an only dog. He does great with play dates and dogs visiting but he can't live with them. He is extremely territorial with his food or your food and other animals. His best buddy was a 7 year old boy who could do no wrong. He is fine with humans and food but not animals.
