ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS FENCED YARD My name is Flash... I am a Dogo Argentino looking for a new family. Keep reading to see what my foster mom says about me..... Flash is a sociable love bug with a TON of energy. He is a 2 year old Dogo Argentino and weighs about 65lbs. He has boundless energy (hence the reason for a fenced yard. He does settle well when he has a way to burn energy) but also likes to sit at your feet for some pets before he zoomies off again to chase off the bugs, birds, etc ? The one hiccup Flash has is that he is VERY hard of hearing (deaf).. like 100% which is typical of this breed. We are working on hand cues and he picks them up quickly ? He loves to chew on bones and he enjoys sunbathing but with him being a pale boy his new owner will need to make sure he doesn’t catch too many rays! ? He is crate trained and would need a fenced in yard to play in. Flash will need a patient human committed to ongoing training for his disability(deaf). He would do best in a home with no cats or small children as he is a spunky young guy who may bump somebody small down and would love to pester a kitty and couldn’t hear you if you tried to correct him. He was returned once and when his previous owner discovered he was deaf, she didn’t want him to be returned again so he came into rescue where he has been awaiting someone with the same energy as him who doesn’t mind his one big quirk ?? With proper introductions, he does fine with other dogs that are close to his size. He has to know that they aren't a threat to him since he can't hear words of encouragement and reassurance.
