Good in a home with
Bistro is the happiest, silliest, most energetic and enthusiastic little dog you could ever ask for. He loves nothing more than to sit on your lap, and give you kisses, in exchange for lots of pets. Bistro LOVES to play, and snuggle. He wants to be with his people whenever possible, and would prefer that he participate in outdoor activities. He is not a barker, unless he feels like he is being left out. He does not like to be crated, or to be left home alone, so a home with another dog, or a stay at home person would be best. He loves to blitz and is quite fun to watch (he has the cutest bouncy run), but also understands the value of a good nap, and is usually the last one out of bed in the morning.
He gets along well with every dog he has met, and doesn't seem to mind cats. Bistro is mostly housetrained, but occasionally marks in the house. He does well for the groomer, and doesn't mind having his nails cut. Bistro could use some training, as he doesn't mind well, but I suspect that he could learn, as he has a strong desire to please. He is also VERY food motivated. Bistro loves children, but can get over-enthusiastic and forget his manners sometimes (he plays a bit rough), so a home without young children would be best. Teen-age girls are his favorites, and he can be a little scared of men at first, but warms up quickly.
