My Story

Albert was rescued by the Cincinnati SPCA in July when he was found in one of Proctor & Gamble's corporate offices. It seems he just strolled in and made himself at home! The staff cared for him for a few days, and then he ended up at the SPCA. He is a big boy at least 32" at the shoulder, and was down to 50lbs. While he was at the SPCA, they fattened him up a bit , he's up to 93 lbs now, and shaved his matted coat. Albert is an absolute lover and loves being, and touched. He is a cuddler too and thinks he is a lap dog! He is housebroken and can be left uncrated in the house without incident. He was found to be heart worm positive and will be undergoing treatment. He gets along great with other dogs and cats too , and is truly a gentle giant! He is neutered and an a mature guy, age unknown. Albert is in the "ugly duckling" stage right now,but will be a magnificent boy once he has his full coat again. He will be placed as an inside pet with access to an above ground fenced yard. If you are interested in giving a senior pyr somewhere to live out his remaining time, he will be eternally grateful and pay you with all the unconditional love and attention you can take. Please contact us for an adoption application to make Albert forever yours. 9/19/05
