This little girl was pulled from the Ft Worth shelter after her time was up. She is now safe and sound in the CCHS adoption program awaiting her forever home! Alexia is a very sweet and a little on the chubby side. She was COVERED in mud, pickers and completely matted when she was pulled from the shelter. After a nice day at the spa, she looks a million times better. She has to be shaved in places that the matting was so bad and painful to her, so she will need some time for all her hair to grow back. She loves cuddling up in a lap and doesn't mind other dogs or kids but prefers to just get petted and loved on. She is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations. Alexia tested positive for mild grade heartworms and has gone through her treatment. She will need to lay low for the next few weeks to rest up and then she will be re-tested in 3 months to make sure they are all gone. The re-test is free as long as you use our vet in Plano. After that, she will just need monthly HW prev like every other doggie. She is housebroken, but as with any dog you will need to teach her the rules of your house.
