The kind folks who do Japanese chin rescue have identified Alfie as a Lemon Chin. It's been an enlightening experience to learn more about this breed from folks who *really* know! He has become a really amazing companion dog. He LOVES to walk on a leash and go out and about. He is very non-demanding, but still enjoys affection from his people. He's been waiting a long time for a home.... so please consider this lovely lad!
You can meet Alfie at the mobile this weekend! On SATURDAY we'll be at Healthwize for Pets, 157 Fillmore Street, at the corner of Waller, from noon until 3pm.
Alfie is about 6-7 years old... a beautiful gentle lad. His dying owner surrendered him to the Sacramento county shelter and he was rescued by a wonderful volunteer.
Alfie is a little overweight ;-) But nothing that regular exercise wont fix. We would recommend him for an adult home, or one with older children. He is simply delightful, and his coat is like silk!
