Alvin

Alvin is a 3 year old Japanese Chin/Chihuahua mix. As you can see, he has a beautiful white coat. I think that these pictures also show how playful he is. Alvin weighs about 12 pounds and we think that he'd be a terrific family pet. He was a shelter pull and had been turned in by his owner who could no longer care for him. He was on his last days at the shelter so we just had to pull him. Alvin is reliably house trained, loves to play and also loves to sit with you. He has been around bigger dogs and can hold his own. The tip of his tongue is usually protruding just enough to be adorable. Alvin does shed and requires brushing a couple of times per week - which he loves! Alvin is a playful boy. He likes to have toys, chewies and run in the yard. He was adopted into a home with a child and they said that he was wonderful but unfortunately, we found out during that adoption that Alvin isn't too keen on sharing his space with cats. The family gave it a good try to see if things would work out - they didn't - so now Alvin is looking for a new forever home.

The adoption fee for Alvin is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.
