AMY is a 7-month-old, 29-lb. kelpie/Australian shepherd. She is the sister of Rory, Keifer, Gus, Eli and Nikki, also listed on this site (two separate litters). The puppies were living in a barn (and previously in a horse trailer) with little human interaction before AWF stepped in to help them. Her new nickname is Wiggle Butt because she's so happy she can't keep her caboose still! This girl has blossomed in the loving environment of her foster home. Amy walks well on a leash, is housetrained, good with dogs & cats, and knows sit, stay, come, down, drop and shake! While she is timid with each new person she meets, she soon warms up and wants nothing more than to stick to your side. She is looking for a forever family who will provide a supportive and calm environment so she feels safe and secure enough to be her sweet, lovely little self. There is a $100 adoption fee, which includes spay, deworming, vaccinations and heart worm check. No adoptions beyond 50 miles of Cedar Rapids.
