Angelo

Angelo is a very sweet two-year-old Chihuahua mix (we think he may be part Min Pin). He weighs about ten pounds. Just look at that cute face and those big brown eyes and try to resist him!

Angelo is nervous at first, but once he feels secure, is a very loving, affectionate boy. He wants to always be by his person, He loves to sit on your lap, and to snuggle next to you at night. He lost his last family due to their allergies, which was hard on him -- he was very afraid and unsure of things when they left him with us. But after 3 or 4 days in his foster home, he showed himself to be a happy, lively, loyal little snugglebug.

Angelo is very smart, and figured out how to use the doggie door at his foster home in just one day. He learns tricks very quickly too. He walks very nicely on a leash. He is house-broken, and has good indoor manners. He gets along fine with cats and other dogs in the household. He loved the children in his last home, but due to his small size, would probably do best in a home where the kids are at least five years-old. He seems to have a real affinity for senior citizens, though.

Angelo becomes very devoted to his 'person,' and is a loyal and faithful friend. He has the typical Chihauaha protective streak, and would make a great watch dog despite his small size.

Angelo's adoption fee of $150 will cover his neuter surgery, as well as his rabies and parvo/distemper vaccinations. He is looking for a very special person or family who can give him a stable, loving home. In return, he will give you lots of love, snuggles, and adoration.
